Privacy Policy

Data we collect

• Account data: name, email address and password (stored hashed by our authentication provider).
• Learning data: courses started, lessons completed, quiz attempts and scores.
• Certificate data: certificate IDs, course titles, issue dates and scores.
• Payment data: the UPI transaction reference (UTR) you submit, the amount and the review status of your request. We never receive or store your bank or card details.

How we use it

• To deliver courses and save your progress across devices.
• To grade quizzes and issue certificates in your name.
• To process certificate purchases and provide receipts and support.
• To improve course quality and platform reliability.

Public information

Our certificate verification page shows the certificate ID, holder name, course title, score and issue date so third parties can confirm authenticity. It never shows your email address or payment details.

Sharing

We share data only with the service providers needed to run the platform — our hosting and database provider. Certificate payments are made directly to our UPI ID, so payment details stay between you, your bank and us. We do not sell personal data.

Retention

We keep learning and certificate records for as long as your account exists, so certificates stay verifiable. Payment records are retained as required by law.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of or deletion of your personal data by emailing Knowviqlearn@gmail.com. Deleting your account also removes your progress data; issued certificates may be retained in anonymised form for verification integrity.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit, access to student records is restricted by row-level security policies, and quiz answers are held server-side only.
