Knowviq Learn Tutor Portal — Terms & Conditions

1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions govern the use of the Knowviq Learn Tutor Portal. By registering as a tutor, paying the registration fee, or using the Tutor Portal, you agree to these Terms and the applicable Privacy Policy.

2. About Knowviq Learn

Knowviq Learn operates an online platform that allows tutors to create profiles, present their teaching expertise, and receive enquiries from prospective students.

3. Nature of the Platform

Knowviq Learn provides a tutor directory and enquiry platform only. Tutors and students independently decide whether to proceed with lessons, including tuition fees, schedules, lesson formats, cancellations, and other arrangements.

Knowviq Learn does not employ tutors, guarantee student placements, collect tutoring fees on behalf of tutors, or act as a party to independent tutoring agreements unless expressly stated otherwise.

4. Eligibility and Registration

Tutors must provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date registration details, qualifications, teaching experience, subjects, and contact information. Tutors must have the legal capacity and any permissions required to use the platform and provide their advertised services.

Knowviq Learn may request additional information or supporting documents to review a profile.

5. Registration Fees

The applicable registration fee and currency will be displayed to the tutor before payment. Tutors must review and confirm the displayed amount before proceeding.

6. Membership Period and Renewal

Membership lasts for one year from activation, subject to successful payment and any required administrative approval.

Membership does not renew automatically. After the membership expires, the tutor must make a new payment to renew membership. Continued access and profile visibility may depend on successful renewal and any applicable approval requirements.

Knowviq Learn does not guarantee that an expired profile will remain publicly visible.

7. Payment and Refund Policy

The registration fee is for access to the Tutor Portal and profile listing, not a guarantee of student enquiries, tutoring work, income, or employment.

Once membership has been activated, the registration fee is generally non-refundable.

Exceptions include:

• Duplicate payments verified by Knowviq Learn.
• Payments deducted despite a failed or incomplete transaction, where a refund is due.
• Refunds or remedies required by applicable law.

A tutor may contact the official Knowviq Learn support contact published on the website for payment-related assistance. Refund requests will be reviewed under this section, the applicable Refund Policy, and relevant law.

Nothing in these Terms removes any consumer rights or legal obligations that cannot lawfully be excluded.

8. Profile Review and Approval

Tutor profiles may require administrative review and approval before publication. Knowviq Learn may reject, suspend, or remove a profile if the information is false, misleading, incomplete, inappropriate, or in breach of these Terms.

Profile approval does not constitute a guarantee or endorsement of a tutor’s performance, qualifications, or suitability for every student.

9. Tutor Responsibilities

Tutors agree to:

• Provide truthful information about their identity, qualifications, experience, and services.
• Keep their profile and contact details up to date.
• Communicate professionally and respectfully.
• Comply with applicable laws, safeguarding requirements, and professional standards.
• Protect student and enquiry information.
• Avoid fraud, harassment, discrimination, misleading claims, and inappropriate conduct.
• Obtain any licences, permissions, background checks, or other authorizations required for their teaching activities.

10. Student Enquiries and Tutoring Arrangements

Knowviq Learn may enable students to discover tutor profiles and submit enquiries. The platform does not guarantee that any tutor will receive enquiries or that any enquiry will result in a lesson.

Tutors and students are responsible for independently checking suitability and agreeing on tuition fees, schedules, payment methods, cancellations, lesson delivery, and other terms.

Any dispute arising from an independent tutoring arrangement should be addressed by the parties involved, subject to applicable law.

11. No Guarantee of Students or Income

Payment of the registration fee does not guarantee student enquiries, student enrolments, employment, income, or any particular result. Tutors are responsible for deciding whether the platform meets their needs.

12. Privacy and Personal Information

Knowviq Learn may process tutor registration information, qualifications, profile content, contact details, membership status, payment status, and student enquiries to operate the platform, review profiles, facilitate enquiries, provide support, and prevent misuse.

Personal information will be handled in accordance with the Knowviq Learn Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws. Tutors must use information received through the platform responsibly and must not misuse or unlawfully disclose personal information.

13. Prohibited Activities

Users must not:

• Submit false information or impersonate another person.
• Publish unlawful, deceptive, or misleading content.
• Misuse student enquiries or personal information.
• Harass, threaten, exploit, or defraud other users.
• Interfere with website security or platform operations.
• Use the platform for unlawful purposes.

14. Intellectual Property and Profile Content

Knowviq Learn’s branding, website design, and original platform content may not be copied or used without permission.

Tutors retain responsibility for the content they submit and confirm that they have the necessary rights to use it. Tutors grant Knowviq Learn permission to display and use submitted profile content for operating and promoting the Tutor Portal, subject to the Privacy Policy and applicable law. This permission does not transfer ownership of the tutor’s content.

15. Suspension and Termination

Knowviq Learn may restrict, suspend, or remove a tutor profile for suspected fraud, inaccurate information, misconduct, security concerns, non-compliance with these Terms, or other legitimate operational reasons.

Where appropriate and legally required, Knowviq Learn will provide notice or an opportunity to address the issue. Refund eligibility following suspension or termination will be determined under the applicable Refund Policy and law.

16. Platform Availability and Changes

Knowviq Learn will make reasonable efforts to maintain platform availability but does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. Features, policies, and services may be changed when reasonably necessary and permitted by law.

17. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Knowviq Learn is not responsible for independent tutoring arrangements, agreements, payments, disputes, or the conduct of tutors and students. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded or limits mandatory legal rights.

18. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by applicable law, tutors are responsible for losses or claims arising from their unlawful conduct, material misrepresentation, or breach of these Terms. This section does not impose liability beyond what applicable law permits.

19. Applicable Laws and Disputes

These Terms are subject to applicable laws and mandatory consumer protection and data protection requirements. Any governing-law or dispute-resolution arrangements must be applied consistently with legal requirements that cannot be waived.

20. Updates to These Terms

Knowviq Learn may update these Terms when reasonably necessary. Material changes will be communicated where required by law. The effective date will be updated when a new version is published.
